louis_greene 0 Posted December 31, 2004 Wish this season was like last years. Single exposure, timer. Comments apprecitated. Link to comment
eric_shapin 0 Posted December 31, 2004 Louis - Appreciate this shot of northern lights, especially since we in the lower 48 don't often get to experience it. How long was the exposure? Link to comment
thomas semesky 0 Posted December 31, 2004 The figure in the foreground makes this photo and separates it from hundreds of others that I've seen dealing with the Northern Lights. Not that the others are neccessary bad, it's just that many of them look the same. Link to comment
carl_piesch 0 Posted December 31, 2004 Very nice...Do I recall seeing this as a cover image on a photomagazine...some sort of natures best or something like that...can't remember - too many magazines/images to recall specifics. Link to comment
Timo Hartikainen 556 Posted December 31, 2004 Beautiful, original, usually we see this kind of shots without people. Link to comment

louis_greene 0 Posted January 2, 2005 Thanks for the feedback. Yes it was featured on the cover of the "Nature's Best Photography" magazine for the international photo contest issue. For a change it wasn't even that cold that night! Link to comment
richard van hoesel 0 Posted January 25, 2005 Phenomenal shot Louis. Looks like a 50's sci-fi graphic. Can't see any way of improving it. Link to comment
