terje_dahl 0 Posted December 28, 2004 wow. Couldn't be done better (maybe a bit more movement in the birds wings, that's all) Link to comment
ronald k 0 Posted December 28, 2004 Very nice, although the slanted horizon on the right bothers me a little. Link to comment

Bilal Zaheer 0 Posted December 29, 2004 Awesome picture! it does need a rotation of 2 degrees, but its just fantastic! what a site it must have been and deafeningly noisy? 7/7!! Link to comment

anish 0 Posted December 29, 2004 this is an awesome shot. if i'm not mistaken, you posted a very similar shot some time ago (although i do not see it in your current portfolio). it's a sure sign of a great shot when it's instantly recognizable! i liked your first shot, as it had a little more "punch"/contrast (at least i remember it that way), but this one is very cool as well. the arrangement of the foreground bird, middleground birds and background birds is just awesome. it's as if they posed in mid air for you. great work. 7/7 -Anish Link to comment
jefftaylor 0 Posted December 30, 2004 This is a great shot but am also distracted by that horizon, Love your Bee Eater shots as well, would be nice to see some info about equipment used. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted December 31, 2004 I cannot comprehend the mentality of some people on this forum. Who would give this wonderful picture a low rating? If you don't like it please give a reason, rather than an rating which cannot be identified. These people simply trash good photography and should be banned from the site. Or do they simply give a low rating to bring the average down! Protecting their own? Anyway, as you can tell, I am really angry at this practice (very prevalent), and wish the moderators could do something about it - perhaps a rating under 4 must have a reason stated for such a rating, before it is registered. This might make a few more people accountable. Also as you can tell, I think this is a great shot - great capture of flight, I like the composition, and the colour is superb. Cheers, Yvonne Milbank Link to comment

digitalsteve 0 Posted January 1, 2005 Wonderful shot, and good positioning on your part to have the dark sky in front of you, the the sun popping through from the side for the picture. 7/7 Link to comment
