nice color saturation

Really nice image. Definitely one of your best. I would love to see this on a piece of plexi so the red reflections would be a bigger player in this one... Still a great image. I like the negative space on the right. IMO it helps the 'group' stay tighter and shows a more caring group, it adds emotion. Nice work... Dave

As you figured out, I tried to make the family look like more closely-knit.

 

The reason I put "uncle Bob" at the back behind the "kids" was I tried to picture this uncle Bob as the typical, unmarried uncle who likes to hang around with the kids and teaching the kids some funny crazy stuff...

 

You know, some sort of "cool, crazy uncle Bob" in the kids' image. An uncle that hangs around at home and helping the parents with the kids but the kids seem to think he's way cooler than the parents sort of stuff...

 

Geez, I cant believe Im personifying this image so deep. I think I need a holiday... :)
