On Stage

Shot recently at Inner Harbor in Baltimore, Maryland (USA), with a

recently purchased Canon 10D, Canon EF-28-135 USM/IS lens.

Manipulated in Photoshop with a custom blur/multiply action. All

comments/critiques greatly appreciated on this or any other image in

my portfolio. Many thanks to all of the great photographers who

inspire (and instruct) us on this site.

I don't know maybe a bit less blur on the child and a bit more light on her face/ right shoulder? Otherwise great composition ;-)

Stricking mood, but pleasant. A shame all that post-shot manipulation, though. Good folios anyway.

very interesting work, glad to have visited. i'd like something in between the original and the manipulated. i like the intensity and colors of the manipulated, but its a little too bright for me, particularly around the child, and would prefer a little less blur on her and her shadow. great composition and pov, the wire helps make it too. but consider cropping the wire just a little so it comes out of the corner directly, and the little nub at the very top left is removed.
