Help me improve my images. Any advice?

This looks like mono-inyo. Maybe if the overcast was a fine mist creaping over the background hills or if you repositioned yourself to show some artistic composition showing some of the tops of those peaks with late afternoon warm light and contrasty shadows, deep saturated earth tones etc.. Other than trying to make it into a work of art, If you want a straight photo of the region, go in plain daylight with polorised filter to help cut haze and really bring out the earth-tones.

Interesante paisaje. Si deseas mejorar esta foto, sugiero que en el momento de la exposicion juegues un poco con los diafragmas y velocidades, trata de darle mೠprofundidad de campo a este tipo de fotos, observaras un grandioso cambio en las texturas y la definicion de contraste y colores.
