squirrelman 0 Posted September 24, 2001 I love this photo. However, I would have liked more depth of field to get the background in better focus -- although it might not have been possible to do so given the location. Link to comment
dustinhenry 0 Posted September 24, 2001 Having it posted the Gargoyle in this href="http://www.photo.net/photodb/folder?folder_id=150614"> gallery, I was suprised to see two comments on it within the hour, before I even finished uploading the entire gallery! I guess you people like it, so here he is, for everybody to see. Link to comment
John G. 0 Posted September 24, 2001 Neat photo, I've seen it done by others. I would like to see a different angle, where the gargoyal would seem to be observing the city. In your shot he seems to be observing off picture. Also, a different framing. Just my 2cents. Link to comment
dustinhenry 0 Posted September 24, 2001 Well any photograph taken from Notre Dame is certainly limited based on the limitations posed by these wire "cages" they have constructed over any window or over any terrace. I found myself sticking first lens through one hole in one hand and camera body through the other and assembling the through the cage just to get some of those shots. Yes, I'm a fool. Link to comment
paul_van_buren 0 Posted September 25, 2001 I think this is one of the best I have seen from you so far. Well done with the light and composition. Link to comment
