I'm a high school student and I've been photographing for about 9

months. This is one of my earlier shots. I'd been wanting to

experiment with smoking photos, and I saw this as a good

opportunity. I'd like to hear what everyone thinks. Any comments are

appreciated. Thanks!

Good use of DOF, good highlights are her face, and of course the exhale brings something nice to the photo. You're doing well for only shooting for 9 months.

However, I'd crop off the darker area to the left of her face, so as to emphasize her smoking away (which would be "read" from left to right). Off-centering the subject here adds dynamism to the already good shot you have here.
