I like the way she's not centered, I like the way the wall in back is at an angle, and blurred. I also think the subject is gorgeous. Are you happy with your 20d? i just got mine last week and so far i'm extatic!

 

 

Thanks for your comments! I am very happy with the 20D, I've had it for almost 2 months now.

The was done during my second photoshoot with a model (the very first one was actually

that very morning), it was about one and a half month ago. I didn't like it at first because

the focus was slightly off, but a few friends and a fellow photo.net member liked it. How

can this be improved? Is the background distracting? Would it have been better if focus

was tack sharp?

It's a great composition! Unfortunately, it looks like your auto focus system decided the hair was the interesting feature of the scene. I would have liked to see the face in better focus than it is here.

It wasn't the AF system's fault, it was me. :(

 

This is the problem with shallow DOF.
