Shot with Fuji S7000 in RAW mode later converted to jpeg and saved for the web in Photoshop CS in low quality 15%. As this was 4048 X 3040 raw saving for web needed very heavy compression which has resulted in jpeg compression artifacts.

Very impressive portrait, grown from skill.

You know how to use your instruments, they work for you and draw this fascinating face for us to explore. This is a masterpiece.

Great portrait, excellent capture. The title suits the image to the tee! I particularly like the position of the subject in the frame with a fixed gaze: it conveys your point exactly that the subject is totally unaware of the camera and is lost in the moment. The only thing I would like to see in a little better light (or clarity) are the eyes other wise excellent portrait.

Interesting one this. You've obviously overdone the colour but it's not completely objectionable like many have been doing lately to deliberately make their subjects ugly.

I'm not sure i like the top cropped like that. It's not bad at all-i just wonder if it could be better cropped less

an outstanding portrait Zafar, mashallah! love the deeply immersed expression and exceptional detail. as for the jpeg artifacts, I think if you reduce the size of the image, but keep the jpeg quality higher, it would definitely be better. the picture size currently still quite big (the height is 943 pixels, a height of 750-800 pixels would allow you to upload better quality jpeg)

portrait, Zafar. This is what I call a speaking portrait. The eyes and mouth speak volumes; there's such hopelessness on this face. Bravo!

An image that does not pass unnoticed, very good photographic eye to catch the expression of this old man.

The definition is amazing.

Happy Christmas Zafar, and Happy new year from Spain.
