Magnets on a market in New York

Very colorful, and if I hadn't seen the title, I might have thought it was food! Perhaps this photo would have been stronger, however, if you had isolated a little more... it's a bit cluttered right now.

The colors are nice and I don't agree that the picture has no meaning. I think of it more like an abstract shot focussed on colors. But Cedar Bough Blomberg is right: it is a bit cluttered. Cropping to keep only the 12 central items would probably result in a better picture.

I also like this shot but, while I generally like to do my cropping in the camera, I agree with Philippe and CBB that cropping to the sixteen central plates(?) would increase visual impact.

I have been widely criticized for not being able to find a 'meaning' in this and several other pics. What I meant was: I see the colors and I like them, but I fail to see anything that keeps me hooked, that elicits any response in me but 'nice colors'. So guys please help me understand, what is for you the meaning of this pic, what makes you want to come back to look at it again, what do you think, feel, smell, hear when you see it?
