arond a. 0 Posted December 26, 2004 What? No comments? I find that hard to believe, much like this photo. It reminds me of another of yours--three boys cliff diving in the Mediterranean. Truly, truly excellent. Such perfect, impossible alignment. Metaphorical, even, in my own private way. Why the hell hasn't anyone else commented on this? Link to comment
atle.g 0 Posted January 13, 2005 Amazing shot! Submit it for critique, it deserves attention. Link to comment
robidooo 0 Posted January 14, 2005 Wonderful idea. I like it very much. I would like to see just a little more the cars on the right so it is balanced between both sides. Link to comment
kenten 0 Posted January 14, 2005 the closest guy looks pretty determined and barechested. the other just glides around wearing sloppy t-shirts (hard to translate my thoughts here...) Link to comment
james_abbott2 0 Posted May 11, 2005 This whole series is really wonderful. I don't really think there needs to be more cars on the right...I think it's fine if it's not completely "balanced". Link to comment
dimitri_vee 0 Posted July 30, 2005 I enjoy this feeling of certainty that few and far-between photos hit you with. No ifs, if-onlys, possiblys, etc. This is a GREAT photo, period. (and squeezed out of the same ordinary places we trudge through daily !!) Link to comment
danene 0 Posted October 15, 2005 Ed; i've been browsing through your photos and am amazed by so many that i have had a hard time figuring out what to say. they are so great, in so many ways. if i had to pick just one thing i love about your photography it would be that every photo evokes an emotion. keep on doing what you do, the world needs more emotion. take care. danene. blowingsky 0 Posted November 12, 2005 This is one of those rare shots that proves photography is a fine art and not simply a graphical craft. It not only captures an irretrievable moment than many people would not even see, but it forces the viewer beyond the surface of the image into the recognition of a condition of existence, a truth unlocked inside the heart. In a better world, this single photo would replace a lot of the work of some "famous" photographers collected in museums that we, deep down, know are over appreciated canonizations of rich dilettantes. alexguerra 0 Posted January 27, 2006 Amazing shot! The title 'Do I exist?' suits as a glove. A perfect portrait of today's masses of zombies. Would love to have a BIG print of this on my wall. Cheers! Alex Link to comment
dennis lee 0 Posted October 1, 2006 For years as a newspaper photographer I tried to get this shot on a similar street. I never pulled it off half this good. Truly excellent...; and I mean years baby, years. Link to comment
engelgrafik 0 Posted October 1, 2006 This photo is fantastic. There isn't enough of this kind of photography today. Too many people focus too much on perfecting technical details like color and sharness. This photo is ART and goes beyond that discussion. Great job. Link to comment
