You get closer than anyone else I can think of to extracting the full potential from those fine old cameras. Partly, I think it is due to the fact that you know what a good print should look like, but there are also obviously a few other things at work.

    BTW, I love your bio note. It is fun to read about the masters like Weston and Strand whose talent was carefully nurtured by everyone around them, but I think your example is much more representative of what most of us have encountered. We can only hope that old professor of yours is having his feet held to the fire in some appropriate place.
