Still not too used with B&W...not to mention RAW and 16 bit... so this afternoon

when it wasn't to much else to do.. I was playing with the 1.000.000 candela

flash light, white sheet of paper as a reflector, and the leves in PhotoShop -

Gritty look! I like it. I think the negative space could be on the right instead of left, but the lighting and "feel" is good.

I love Igor Amelkovich's pictures. and I do think he has an amazing tonal range/tone in general to his work... I find it interesting to see if it's possible to get similar tones (with VERY limted resoureces..) Though I'm far from it for now... I seem to be on the track at least....

Eek! Please, don't hit me! Hehehe, nice, very moody... the textures and tones of the jumper work surprisingly well with the stubble, and the whites of your eyes stand out against the dark atmosphere. I wasn't as sure about the shine on your skin at first, but its grown on me, gives a feeling of adreneline and intensity.
