well, the red spots r in fact seasonal flowers very close 2 the camera...as action takes place @ a distance...so flowers got blurred, naturally.

The DOF is pretty shallow, but this works, imo. The little one's eye is sharp, so your eyes are drawn right there. Great timing.

....shot in this bird series youv'e made again Umair. Wonderful movement in the wings and bodies of the birds and the way youv'e managed to get focus on there eyes is great....Best regards, Harry

I've noticed people will say they are giving me a 7/7 or 6/7 and then obviously don't. Why bother saying any rating then? I don't care that much; I depend more on the comments than the ratings anyway, but it's kind of a dirty thing to do. If they ever remove the anonymity again from the ratings, I think we will all be shocked at who's rating quite low. Anyway, Umair, you can be proud of your images and don't take the low raters to heart.

Quality work Umair? Hardly! Climb down off your high horse. I rated a couple of your shots low because they were rediculously blury and badly photoshopped.

By now i realize that you LIKE your shots to be blury-i have no idea why but respect that

Now-this image. This is easily the best of your bird pics that i've seen.Pity about the cropping being so close to the wing and having the tail chopped off but i suspect you didn't have a choice in the matter.
Manipulations-if any are very well done. The out of focus flowers in the foreground area real surprise.Very nice indeed.

dear ron, i had no choice in framing this shot...action was rapid & camera fixed on heavy tripod & finger on continious mode shutter press...the birds slightly moved ahead & walked out of the frame...but since this 1's the best from the entire series of 6 shots ...so i decided 2 compromise with composition. luvd the way foreground flowers looked..so also decided 2 let them stay.
