Guest Guest Posted December 17, 2004 Ambas tienen la misma calidad, son retratos excelentes donde se advierte gran dominio de la luz y del BN. Link to comment
ned1 0 Posted December 17, 2004 I do prefer this one, but my goodness the other one is good too! Link to comment
ron c sunshine coast, qld,a 0 Posted December 17, 2004 I think i prefer the other one but it's close call-in both of them you'va made her look like a monkey.Less contrast is needed for sure. Then experiment, take alot of pics 'till she looks best Link to comment
harry eggens 0 Posted December 17, 2004 ....portraits JF, but what I like more in this one is the totally dark background, while the other one has a lighter, lightly disturbing background on the left side, and the fact that that this portrait is less posed than the other one. The facial expressions in both are wonderful and the details and tones are great. 7/7 for this one and 6/7 for the previous one....Best regards, Harry Link to comment
mircea_strugaru 0 Posted December 17, 2004 subject is interesting, framing is ok, but I find the contrast too strong. I would preffer a less contrasty approach. Link to comment

ken_thalheimer 3,739 Posted December 17, 2004 Excellent portrait! This old woman's craggy face just begs for a portrait, it's great. You've handled it very well with your lighting, pose and tonal range. Congrats Link to comment

lucas_jarvis 0 Posted December 18, 2004 She looks so very similar to a monkey. I think this is what makes this picture stand out to me. An evolution picture perhaps? Link to comment
seven 0 Posted December 18, 2004 An elderly woman well exposed. Agree simian similarities. Good exposure - some heat in nose and cheeks but doesn't detract from the meaning. Link to comment

al-farrob 1 Posted December 18, 2004 Both are excellent as many people have already stated. For me the other is slightly better technically but this one atracts me more. I like this expression better, slightly. Link to comment
