saddleboy 0 Posted December 16, 2004 I remember seeing a portrait of your daughter a few weeks ago along with a few good and constructive critiques and coments ( from which i learned as well). Judging from what i see here compare to that portrait, i would say that you're a fast learner... This in my opinion is a very good portrait which hopefully both of you are proud of. The only thing that i don't like about this one is the blur which IMO is unnecessary unless you want to disimulate something you can't crop but this is just my humble opinion and i'm no specialist. Beautyful daughter, i hope she knows that. Best regards, Pascal Link to comment
michaelseewald 237 Posted December 16, 2004 Couple of things. I always like the borders going darker instead of lighter, which is standard in the industry because it keeps the eye in the photo. Although it's almost more blurred looking than lighter. Secondly, be careful showing your daughter this. It's really nice in that it shows her disqust with having to get her image taken with you, but it's probably not endearing in her eyes, probably. But we the public think it's a great capture because of it. Blessings, MS Link to comment
