Curious why this pic has such disparity in responses. This is a repost, with slightly stronger contrast, of an earlier post that got either 3's or 6's and little in between. What do you like about it? What do you hate? Just curious.

 

Postscript: Some of the disparity seems to have been caused by a malicious poster this morning who gave every pic posted that was not a nude a 1/1. Kudos to the webmasters here who caught the scoundrel and removed his ratings!

Did you provide the shadow yourself, or was it "found" like this? - either way the results are very dramatic, and the colour tones, and grain only serve to add to the overall effect.

The "shadow" is actually the trace of a flashlight. This was long exposure in near darkness. I used a low-intensity flashlight to highlight the parts I wanted. There are two other pictures on the page that use a similar technique in a less obvious way. See if you can spot them.
