Guest Guest Posted February 4, 2005 I wish I could take photos like you ! This one is one of my favourite. It makes me to go to New york...maybe one day...Keep on !! Link to comment
nicholasprice 0 Posted February 11, 2005 Is the movement blur for real, or has it been digitally added? Its a very interresting image of what might have been quite an uninterresting subject. Link to comment
stephxiii 0 Posted April 30, 2006 Cette photo est vraiment geniale. Techniquement avec le file du fond mais egalement graphiquement avec le contraste du rouge et du noir. Super boulot. Link to comment
jitka 0 Posted November 27, 2006 very nice picture, g. Jitka, (http://www.jitkaunverdorben.estranky.cz) Link to comment
velter 0 Posted November 27, 2006 Initially I thought 'Wow, that's nice', but then I realized, that there was something very wrong with the blurring: the roof and the sides of the kiosk are motion blurred (in both directions) and even the houses on the opposite side of the street?! Photoshop spoiled this picture. Link to comment
iris.keren 0 Posted November 27, 2006 I love this shot. Can you explain how it was done? Thanks. Link to comment
mnigro 0 Posted November 28, 2006 I think this image is outstanding even if modified by computer. It accurately depicts the fast-paced world where the "news" stands still, if only briefly. Societies cannot function without brief daily injections of news and this image makes the point quite well. I was here in December '04 and back again with more thoughts an this image, however irrevelent. Link to comment
nicolasbryant 0 Posted November 28, 2006 Thanks again, for your comments. Again this picture was taken with a relatively slow speed shutter, the cars behind were naturally blurry, I liked the effect and decided to blurr the whole background with ps. I didn't know then this picture would be so exposed, I guess I would have done it more carefully now. Link to comment
jbm 0 Posted February 10, 2008 N- I am looking at this photo as I arrive back to my shoebox Manhattan apartment on a rainy night. I am leaving NYC in July, and this photo makes me ache for a place I have not yet left. Lovely... Cheers, Jay Link to comment
