Virgin snow

ian cameron

Winter is probably my favourite season for photography and fresh virgin snow brings about the most wonderful transformation one could ask for. This area received a good big dump of new snow. Loch Morlich has some peat bogs, the brown stained water looks like strong tea and has stained the snow from beneath. Please feel free to visit my website, access times are a lot more rapid now. Transient light, There are some superb new shots at Timecatcher too.

A huge dump of snow anywhere in Britain is a pretty rare event these

days so my delight at stepping from a car into a scene straight out

of Narnia filled me with delight. By the way the brown stain is not

sewage it is peat stained water.

Nicely captured, the way the snow is melting so smoothly and in large swells, makes this look kind of sureal! Well done!
