Please critique.

I can be seduced with lighting and texture. This is a really nice example of both. I assume the shot is made in the late afternoon since you mentioned south view. I thought I'd like more emphasis on the water area by reducing the rock in the foreground but the lighting and texture of the rocks is really eyecatching. Only negative is that there are two areas of the image competing for the viewers attention.

Lighting... textures... very nice.6/6
