stacy_kinslow 0 Posted December 9, 2004 Nice image of the pleiades. I would like to see it cropped to isolate the cluster. Link to comment
dave_snay 0 Posted December 10, 2004 I have to disagree with Stacy. I think this cluster looks best in a nice wide field image like this one. I feel it loses it's magice if you isolate it too much. Link to comment
david_sargent 0 Posted December 11, 2004 Great picture. You captured the reflection nebulae nicely, and you have black space in the background. I have tried similar photos, but always end up with skyglow in the background. Did you use any filters, or just have a good dark site to shoot from? Link to comment
erikadams 0 Posted December 13, 2004 It's interesting that so many photos of deep space objects have the subject in the center. I think it's because that's how we view them in the telescope. But the rule of thirds might help this photo. It's very crisp, though, and well exposed. Link to comment
AaronFalkenberg 0 Posted December 15, 2004 I agree with Erik. I am also tempted to crop because there is filamentary detail that would be more pronounced. Link to comment
patrick_winkler 0 Posted December 15, 2004 the pic was made at a really dark place, so the glow didnt appear. Link to comment
