The very light person on modern day snowshoes off into the horizon after a warm day and heavy snow turned cold and turned the fluffy white into crunchy corn disallowing them to break through to the romantic experience of floating through powder on the way to eternity well composed.

That's original. I like the way one cannot immediately tell snowshoes from some strange bird, and snow from some white sand.

The only comment I have is about the way the wide-angle lens deforms the lowest part of the image, which looks like "falling off" the screen. That's an unavoidable effect looking downward with a wide-angle, and maybe the photo would be nicer without it... or not?
