joshchapman 0 Posted December 8, 2004 Nice framing and pose, but it's a shame she's squinting. Bright light like that can also cast some less than flattering shadows sometimes. I like the choice of background too: it doesn't distract from the subject and works well with the wooden pole. Link to comment

jscown 0 Posted December 9, 2004 Thank you all for your comments. The lighting for this photo was brutal... This shot was taken at a photo course on a very sunny day, but the worst of it was the wind. There was a lot of dirt and sand being picked up by the wind, leading to tough conditions for the model.
