paulduss 0 Posted February 18, 2006 I like this photo a lot. I love books to begin with ;-), and I can almost smell them just by looking at this picture. The light is soft and lovely. The dark tables and the perspective give the pleasing impression that the books are floating. But what works the most for me is the contrast, or unbalance, between the heavy white piles of books on the right and the lightness of the black, thin, empty chairs on the left. Well seen. Very minor quibble: maybe the graffiti on the pillar draws a little too much attention. Beautiful shot! Link to comment
