cortes1 0 Posted December 5, 2004 This is the bottom of a sea cushion star (culcita schmideliana) at night. The blue tone is probably because of the torch I used to take the photo. Too symmetrical may be? Any critique and rating warmly welcome. Mikel Link to comment
cortes1 0 Posted December 5, 2004 I don't know why but the compression of the photo is not good. Please see the larger one. In any case the original it's much better. Link to comment
Bilal Zaheer 0 Posted December 7, 2004 Excellemnt capture Cort? so much detail, wonderful colors and texture. it would not compress so much because there is a lot of detail and intricate textures in the picture. The jpeg agorithem (actually all compression methods) looks for very similar/same elements in a file and group them together as one instance. but when there is so much detail and variation, the algorithem cant find a lot of matching/grouping and hence less compression Link to comment

andreas fischer 0 Posted June 14, 2005 simple and beautifull i think it would be even better if the center of the star wouldnt appear in the center of the picture Link to comment
