critter 0 Posted September 20, 2001 I love the combination of IR film with the industrial. It's adds a unexpected softness. The angled pipe really adds to the composition. I also like the wide angle slant. I know most architecturalists might preach the tilt lens, but I think it adds to the surreal quality of the IR. Link to comment
frank_mc_clellan 0 Posted September 21, 2001 Very nice composition and very good leading lines. Great job. Link to comment
doug_wolf 0 Posted September 21, 2001 I'm of the opposite mind as Critter - I think a shift lens (or perspective transform in photoshop) would make for a stronger image. I tried the latter to see, and do like that result better (I won't post it here as I think unsolicited edits presented in a public forum are insulting to the photographer. With Amy's permission, I'll post it. Don't flame me, it's just my opinion.). Nevertheless, a striking image, and the cloud placement and overall dark tone is very effective. It has a Dali-esque feel - if you look at it long enough, the main structure on the right becomes a face with half-lidded eyes. Link to comment

alexander munro 0 Posted October 5, 2001 This is an interesting folder. Very dark and imposing. It reminds me of H.R. Giger. Alex Link to comment

endre halász 0 Posted March 30, 2003 I've always wanted to take industrial pictures but I was not sure if it is intristing. I do like your efforts. I like these but I still cannot start my rolls in this subject. This one is great with the clouds - looks like vapour-columns escaping from the structure. Link to comment
suprax 0 Posted May 7, 2003 This photo looks as if it came out of a dream. To capture a picture such as this is a large achievement. Link to comment
