I don't like looking at this, it does not work for me. It looks like the foreground has been copied and pasted onto the background, there is no harmony.

She was standing inside old barn and the barn door behind her It was

raining like hell outside So the background almost look like a

wallpaper or something, I used strobe lights on her. tell me what you

think of it be honest Thanks :)

This is a rather attractive image, but there is an element of artifice in it. I suppose that is because of the angle of the light. The most illuminated point in the sky is behind the model but the light on the model is coming from the opposite direction. If that bright spot on the sky wasn't there I think the photo would have been better. Now I have never shot a model or with lights before, so I may not know what I am talking about....just a thought, not to be taken too seriously.

Heida,

The fascination this image exudes is the same as that of Angel. Please do not read and take too seriously the "critics'" opinions. Don't forget what Orson Welles said about critics: "They are like eunucs - they know how it's done, where it's done but can't do it" :)))) You must build more self-esteem and self-confidence Heida!!! It seems that you are insecure - asking so often the opinion of a crowd which cannot reach up to your ankle, okay. One fact in point: In 1962 the movie I photographed "The Olive Trees of Justice", in Algeria, (French film) received the Cannes International Film Festival Award "Prix de la Critique de Cinema et Television". Well, it was NOT a commercial success because at the time the French - Algerian War was a HOT topic. But in 2001, the Museum of Modern Art in NYC showed a retrospective and, in Paris, it is now considered a "classic" So much for "critics". Just forget them. You've got it Heida and that's that! :) TO THOSE WHO ASK WHAT SHE SEES, THERE IS ONLY ONE ANSWER - GOD !

PS To the ones pointing out the light source being being behind her, I say: hey, she is illuminated by lightning - that's why it comes from the front and it is so strong !!! :)))
