marq 0 Posted December 6, 2004 This for me works well. The composition is interesting. The three repeating poles and people create wonderful shapes. The swinging sensation of the image gives a nice flowing movement, which is ankored by the slice of negative space at the bottom. The blue sky offers a restful space for the eye. vladvlaz 0 Posted December 6, 2004 Thank you for your comment. This was shot with a cheap Nikon zoom @28mm f/3.3, hence the light fall-off in the corners and barrel distortion. I think a 24mm would have worked better here, to fit in even more poles and silhouettes, and more of the tower. This was shot from a moving boat, standing on a seat @1/20s, unfortunately as we floated away things got in the way and I could not take a shot from further away. Link to comment
