art_ozsvath1 0 Posted October 8, 2001 This is so inappropriate. How can you even think of asking people to rate this photograph. Seeking a critique of your photography when it is a picture representing the horrible death of so many people is beyond comprehension. Link to comment
digital singularity 0 Posted October 15, 2001 How can someone think that something like this is inappropriate? Isn't photojournalism about showing the horror (in this case) of an event to the world? Haven't people won awards for some very tragic and sad photographs? Yes, it was a terrible event, but instead of shelving pictures like this from the public eye, people need to remember. Years from now, school children will look upon pictures like these and realize what terrible event happened on September 11th. Link to comment
d._anthony_guimond 0 Posted October 17, 2001 If you look at the ratings Art is the only one that didn't think the picture was any good! Link to comment
g2imaging 0 Posted March 23, 2004 It is funny how people think the world of a photojournalist involves fields of daisies and children on swings. Reuters top 100 images of the 20th century are not all pretty, they are all real... as ugly as it gets. Sorry you had to photograph this... nice job. Link to comment
klimax 0 Posted December 16, 2004 I think this photo works aesthetically, photojournalistically, as well as emotionally. Link to comment
