jared_b. 0 Posted December 3, 2004 This is a 1400 y/o tree, and is a turist attraction near my town. Does this look like a Poster you might see ? Thanks for any comments ! I appreciate it ! Jared Link to comment
robertmccurley 0 Posted December 3, 2004 Very nice composition. If you were going for the "poster" look, you achieved it. Looks like the exposure is right on, too. Good work. Link to comment
jerry ting 1 Posted December 3, 2004 Jared, this is a really nice shot even without the special effect. Hard to believe that you are still a teenager and just started photography a year ago. I agree with Robert's comments about the composition and exposure and I really like the frame work as well. I can tell that you really observe your subject carefully before taking the shot. Congrats and keep on the good work. Link to comment

chris_conrad 0 Posted December 4, 2004 Great compostion and tones. It seems to be lacking sharp detail though--maybe just the jpeg. Lovely shot either way. cc Link to comment
vickilynn 0 Posted December 4, 2004 Nice shot. I have visited Angel Oak several times but just could not get the shot I wanted. It truley is an amazing tree for thsoe who might have a chance to visit. Link to comment
AaronFalkenberg 0 Posted December 10, 2004 You've captured the immense bulk of this tree quite nicely. Link to comment
jay_patel 0 Posted March 9, 2005 The texture in the tree are excellent. The details in the dark areas is well represented. An improvement would be to control the highlights. Try taking this photo early in the morning or on a slightly overcast day and try taking this photograph again to see if you can control the highlights better. Link to comment
