I am relatively new to digital photography. This is one of my

favorite photos. I shot it in the gardens of the Marriot Hotel in

Kauai, Hawaii.

Nicely composed, but i feel this shot is inbetween a shallow dof and all in focus. If you wanted to highlight the bird i think you should have limited the dof more, and moved closer. But in this shot i feel that an overall sharp image would fit best. Regards!

The foreground lacks focus and the background lacks sharpness.
