Hi Linda. I would clone out the little bouy on the left, it competes for center stage. Regards.

Walter...I expected a clone suggestion. I debated and decided to leave it. Thanks for noticing ;-)

RE....the bird's serious...it's the photographer that's goofy!LOL!

Colin...thanks for stopping by! Always nice to have you visit.

Beautiful Linda, I love how that scary black mixes with water. I would have clone that thing too. This is a big hand. Regards.

Hi Linda.... The clean fall colors and picturesque homes at the other side of the lake is a big plus for this image. I may crop off the bottom portion a bit to pull viewers' attention more toward the bird...

I love the bird Linda! I read comments first as it opened...was expecting something else.(Pun unintended!) It makes the shot complete I feel.

Hey those are cool Els! :)))

Els! Thank you for your contributions....although I am not surpised any more on how much we think alike!

Hi Israel...I liked the scary black, too!

Thanks, Brad...the crop would eliminate some of the scary black, though....;-)

Amelie...the bird drew my attention. But it was only a seagull on a pole. I tried to compose around him....

Ken, that would have been great! Leave it to you to see the potential....we could have maybe stretched some panty hose.....

I'm with Walter - the little object in the water competes with everything else. I like the bird's position and the way the posts form a guide to the bird.

Wow, Linda! This is impressive work with color, and the subject is stunning. The water really looks cold, but the trees give warmth to the picture.

I like the composition and over all the contrasting colors of the backdrop and the actual subject. The bird looks surreal like waiting for the shot to be taken. Wonderful.
