Death Awaits

I'm looking for opinions on which is looks "better" - this or the

other vewrsion of the same shot in this portfolio.

I prefer this one. Though it is darker, I like the richeness of the background colors and the greater feeling of depth. The other feels a bit flat. A bit of dodging on the face would perhaps help this version. Either way, it is an intriging image. Where was this taken?

good composition and exposure. well done.

Beautifully lit. The statue is so colorless and stark against the warm wall. Very effective.

This image would have been better with more sharpness. Of course, this may have been a result of resizing or digital manipulation.

I like this one. The richness of the background color and the increased contrast add dimension, as do the shadows. Very nice composition.
