thea_van_gogh 0 Posted November 30, 2004 I took this shot in a parking-garage in a big city, somewhere in The Netherlands: Country were many people and many cultures lived in good harmony, up to a few years ago. The peaceful atmospheer is totaly gone since people have been murdered because of bring out their opinion. The situation between the different cultures is strained. Even some people in the government propose to adjust some laws. One of the most important rights we have is the right to bring out our opinion. That right is fastened in our constitution, and we will fight to preserve that right. We will fight in the good sens of the word. The painting touched my heart and mind and gave me the drive to bring out my worry. I love critiques, bad ones and good ones! Tell me what's coming up into your mind now. Link to comment
alex_schwnk 0 Posted November 30, 2004 nice paiting on the wall, but maybe it would look better if some of the ceiling was cropped out Link to comment
thea_van_gogh 0 Posted November 30, 2004 Thank you Alex for your comment. Maybe you are right about the ceiling. Aesthetical it could be nicer. But to me that heavy and grey brays interpret the threat and precarious situation we are in here. What's hanging over our heads? Link to comment
