for a moment I thought you had a photo here of an old ruin church in Ireland.

Hi Bill...I thought it was sort of an interesting structure. There was a large area with a lot of abandoned buildings at the old (and unused) copper mine where I found this. It is located on the Keweenaw Peninsula in Michigan. Thanks for the visit. Regards.

Interesting! I hope you got a few more of any old machinery etc lying around. There are a lot of old tin mines in Cornwall that look like this.

Thanks Colin. Unfortunately this is the only shot from this location. Regards.

Great perspective in this one, Walter. I like the contrast of textured wall and blue, blue sky.

lots of interest and potential here. closer to sun rise/set might be more effective. maybe more of the right end of the wall. the sky may be a bit too saturated. worth a return trip. regards bob.

A nice detail full of detail.

I think everyone has already said what I was going to say. That's what happens when you got a knowledgeable and skilled audience of photographers. Anyway, nice one!

The line chosen is good, sky looks a bit strong, the last arch wants to be in or out.

Glen, I like the sky strong, but I agree with you about that last arch. There was just no way to compose this and not have it in the frame. The "terrain" that was immediatley in front of this wall was overgrown with hideously painful thorn bushes of some kind. Couldn't get around them. Regards.
