The falls were illuminated by some colored lighting that night and looked magical. I was lucky enough to have a mini-tripod with me to capture this scene. I hope you enjoy it. Link to comment

willy.marthinussen 0 Posted November 29, 2004 is it the wrong way? great photo love the contrast and colours.. --willy-- Link to comment
pradeep satyaprakash 0 Posted November 29, 2004 Yes, it is the right way. The water is flowing from the top right of the frame to the bottom left. The tree is hanging on to the side of the hill that was close to where I was standing. The colors are from the park lighting they do to make the falls look cool at night. Thanks for the comments. randa_r 0 Posted August 22, 2006 I knew where you were standing immediately when I saw your picture!! Beautiful shot! I loved the way the lights played across the water and mist. I also have the Canon Powershot G3. Did you use manual technique? None of my pics looked so good...but alas I was using my tiny sony in it's waterproof case. Did you get any good shots of the rainbow??? I love this picture. I have a personal connection to the image. Makes me smile thinking about my trip to Niagara Falls. Thank you. By the way, I like many of your pictures. I love macro...I just don't get such crisp shots...I never have a tripod when I need one! Randa Link to comment
