This is a beautiful image. The women are intriguing and the background perfect.

I love the overall feel of this image. It desperately cries out for a bit of fill flash. If we were able to see the face and eyes better it would make an enormous difference. The feel and atmosphere of the composition is excellent!

I love the subject, colors and the mood, I was just wondering why this photo is cropped horizontally like so? I feel like something is missing. Would the best presentation of this subject be to include more of the woman's hand in the photo?

The one thing I dislike in photography is fill flash and as such I never paint it either. Natural light. I don't want you to see the faces. Your imagination will make up something far more interesting. That's the idea behind matte painting, the viewer sees more than is actually painted.

 

And the crop is 2.35:1 aspect ratio, motion picture. Very deliberate and designed for film.
