Cute as they look, the most accurate killer on land and in the water. You've captured these two beloved amazingly good. By the looks of them both, I can't say wich one is the male... he must be a youngster. Good work!

Brilliant shot & composition.

Because I always get frustrated when people don't actually say anything other than "nice", or give you a 3/5 without any comments... On the constructive criticism side:

1) the image is going dark into the corners... probably as a result of shooting wide open due to interesting lighting conditions! This is something that you can tweak a bit in Photoshop.

2) The contrast from the scan is a bit flat, that can also be tweaked in PS. But, I often find that the "Save For Web" format required here on photo.net can do that to any photo, so it may have happened then.

3) There's a bit (ever so slight) of a green/yellow cast in the center of the frame. You can reduce the green channel a little bit and/or desaturate green/cyan a touch.

None of that detracts from the fact that this is an awesome image... just thought I'd provide some comments as to how to enhance it even more!

A fine shot all the better for being taken in the wild. Vignetting and colour casts mentioned above dn't seem significant to me. A good choice of lens (as long as possible!) to capture a great moment!
