salvatore.mele 1 Posted November 26, 2004 I like the colours leading to the mountain, and the contrast between the grass and all the other elements. I am not totally convinced by the closest part of the foreground, which is a bit too much off focus, and the slightly burn-out region to the left of the shot. I understand you wanted to get lake, grass, fuji and snow (and cloud!) in one shot, but the way these elements are arranged now is maybe not optimal. If you would accept of letting go of the lake (less is more) and look just at a square part, top right, with the green slope and Fuji-san, you might end up with a much stronger image whose elements are more in harmony with each other... maybe you wish to try that crop. hazeelin_hassan 0 Posted November 27, 2004 Well, for me, i take the greenery as a leading line towards the mountain. In this shot it is clearly that the mountain is the subject. I dont mind the slightly over-exposed on the the left side, because if exposed correctly will sacrifice the mountain. I just like the photo as is. Great work! Link to comment
matt_c2 0 Posted November 28, 2004 Gorgeous landscape. I wouldn't change a thing. I'm sure this is as my eye would see it. Great work. Link to comment
terrybutler 0 Posted November 29, 2004 If I wanted to change this I'd probably crop a bit off the bottom, reducing the foreground and making it slightly more panoramic. Small point though, it's a terrific picture. Link to comment
