roberto p 0 Posted November 26, 2004 Another one of your fantastic shots. Hard now to judge which is the best one. Congrats! Link to comment
sofia_doncheva 0 Posted November 26, 2004 Captivating! How do you achieve this look as if the land will pop out of the frame directly at the user? Is it the result of a wide lens, or is it something else? I am trying to get the same look in my photos, but so far totally unsuccessfully. Link to comment
thomas_turk 0 Posted November 26, 2004 These dead, drab, artificial digital hues remind me of the soda lake in Nakuru, Kenya, where I went to primary school, except that there also resided pretty, pink flamingos. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted November 27, 2004 This is a unique subject, and you've composed the frame very well. The clouds are a fortunate addition that make the photo what is is also. If I had to play devil's advocate, I might add a little sharpening, and possibly increase saturation a tiny bit. This is a great shot, though . . . definitely magazine cover stuff. -s Link to comment
dave_k1 0 Posted November 27, 2004 I have to admit I do like your sharpened version. For the most part I rarely, if ever sharpen my images. I will have to experiment some with it in the future though. Thanks for your comments. Dave Link to comment

michaelseewald 237 Posted November 27, 2004 Steves rendition really makes this move up a notch. Thank God someone on this great site told me about the 'sharpen' tool too, as my images were just dying on the vine. His punchier version might have gone too far, but I'm tending to think it's just right. Blessings, MS Link to comment
michael_weaver 0 Posted November 27, 2004 Excellent composition, exposure and drama. A real sense of depth and solitude pervades this picture. But, am I really the only one who's noticed that the horizon's not horizontal??? Link to comment
carsten_ranke 0 Posted November 29, 2004 Gorgeous, nothing to improve (maybe the horizon, Michael is right. Minor issue). Congrats, Carsten Link to comment
donnaalbers 0 Posted December 1, 2004 A wonderful perspective and richness of colors. Link to comment
