I love the detail you captured in this photo. Nice.

Is this the laying eggs season? Good DOF and composition. The eye got a story to tell.

Nice closeup, good DOF. I would like to see a little more dead space on teh left - the subject might be a little too centered

`nice photo' could have done with some eye highlights but maybe the sadness in the eye is the sympathy we feel for the creature, agree prob a bit centered but then I like the bit of sky top left

I was questioning Wayne's comment on sadness, wondering why is it that this turtle is associated with pity. Then I took a second look and noticed the "tear" dripping from her eye. Great photo, perhaps a shift to the left would take care of that centered feeling by revealing a bit more of the body, but it's not so bad really. Thanks for commenting on one of my photos Laurence.
