I was very pleased when I made this discovery. It's on my getting far too long list of ideas to revisit.

Wow Charlotte! I went poking about your website. Went straight for the drawings because for a long time the pencil was my favourite medium. Well, you have a very interesting style. Quite a stirring combination of childlike innocence and something quite dark and somber, even dangerous. Houses without doors... 'Hound on hill' was for me the most potent, it brought back memories of a nightmare I used to have as a kid. A roving pack of hounds that prowled the dusk. Large and grey and snarling with a lust for meat. Close the windows and shut all the doors. And RUN not to get home after dark.

But I knew it was only a dream, playing 'cowboys and crooks' with my brothers on the farm was most fun at night... sneaky-sneaky-sneaky-BANG!

I afraid it's pretty much only photography. Hardly touched a pencil or brush for almost 10 years. But... Recently I have been thinking about tossing out the camera and painting my thoughts rather. But instead I decidced to try music (wish I did it at school). And the links - I don't make them pink - that's probably the default colour for a link you've already visited. The actual link is done by wrapping it with a link tag as follows:THIS will point to the webpage at URL. URL's are the addresses of the webpages.e.g.hey people, here is a link to Yahoo.orlollipopGet the URL from the address bar at the top of your browser.Note that you must select the HTML option, just below the comment entry box for it to work. Then everything between '<' and '>' does not appear in the comment output. Other stuff, italic text Bold textSee, most tags start with <__> and end with and everything between is modified by whatever the type of tag is.More important ones,

newline character

paragraph breakIf you don't use these two, all your text appears in one big clump without newlines and paragraph breaks. Like you see below ( this same comment posted as 'HTML' instead of 'Plain Text' )

Got damn close to painting this week - tried to find my brushes and stuff... They're lost in a box - somewhere deep and longforgotten...
