rajnishduara 0 Posted January 24, 2005 I have always attempted something like this but it always eluded me. I feel if u would have taken after sometime when the sun is just above the horizon and the shadows become long the image would be much stronger. There is lot of negative space on top, the sun occupying a small space. Link to comment
deepakb 1 Posted January 25, 2005 Ya..I ve been doing my regular visits to Juhu beach for getting a shot with the sun on the horizon. The clouds were heavy during this shot and this was perhaps the last view before the star hid itself. What should I do when the sky is so plain as in this shot. Have a close subject? Link to comment
rajnishduara 0 Posted January 26, 2005 Deepak, I think the clouds should be used for your advantage. Let the sun really go down and play colors with the clouds, set up somebody as a subject, make it a sillhoutte and take at low SS and small aperture, see the result. If u r still dissatisfied try to photoshoppe the subject to make him a sillhoute. Go thru my "Sunset" shots and give your valuable opinion. It would help me too. Link to comment
