hlaszlo 0 Posted November 20, 2004 Hy everybody! For those who liked my Transylvania pictures, I'm back. I was on a photo trip in the summer visiting isolated villages in the mountains of Transylvania. These villages still preserve some traditional lifestyle and I'm out to capture it before it dissapears for ever. This is a calvinist church, surrounded by a protective wall. There are many fortified hungarian and saxon (german) churches in Transylvania. The walls date back to the middle ages when the tatar troups were looting in the country. Link to comment
