nature Lions eye view

I am crazy about the South African wildlife, I can't get enough (was 6 x there in SA). This lion eye is fabulous, what does he think? He is the king anyway. cheers jana (6/6)

This is great. The only distrating things I can see are of course the grass in the foreground (maybe had you waited a little longer he'd have moved his head a bit... or you could have moved yourself and found a "cleaner" perspective?) and the eye could be sharper. It's pretty important when trying to capture emotion through the eyes. Also, the mane looks like it could be a bit sharper.

Grass in foreground, was what I was trying to capture, but so be it. Photo scanned with A4 scanner so not very clear, jammer. This pic taken whilst leaning out of a landrover with no door at ground level, so short of getting out the car and rolling on the ground ther was no option for change of perspective, Cheers.
