Guest Guest Posted November 20, 2004 I really question this image. In particular the birds left foot. It is clearly not wrapped around the wire but ahead of it. This would be ok but the birds stance suggests this is not so...theres also a bunch of webby junk surrounding this on blow up and actually both legs LOOK, not saying they are...transplanted onto the bird...The legs look too straight and foreign to the bird and just something about them..is this just me thinking this?...sorry if i'm wrong...but Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted November 20, 2004 NIce detail in the feathers and wonderful composition. The soft colors of the backround are terrific. The legs do look a little strange, so stickish. But since I have no idea what this guy looks like in person, I can't really be the judge. Love that beak! Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted November 20, 2004 I think that is an illusion of the feet not actually being on the wire myself, but they really are. Seems like too much work to try and place a bird on a wire just because. Anyway, I really like this image, irregardless of how it was done. Nice detail and tones. I just posted a bird picture with the exact same title - weird! Link to comment
ml 0 Posted November 21, 2004 Thank you for your comments. Paul this photo is NOT manipulated , is 100 % real. n1. I would not have time or knowledge to put a bird in a wire in ps !! n2. You are having paranoid thoughs about this photo.Take a break and Relax :) Link to comment
1000wordsphotography 0 Posted November 22, 2004 I think what you may be seeing near the feet and wire are perhaps spider web threads or horse hairs. Often I see clumps of hair attached to barbed wire fences where there are horses pastured. Be that as it may... this is one stunning image. One to be proud of. Link to comment
