dirksville 0 Posted November 17, 2004 I found the old language and writing that was scattered around the ruins throughout Rome absolutely fascinating. This was on a stone tablet in the Roman Forum. Any comments or ratings much appreciated... Link to comment
corbin 0 Posted November 17, 2004 You got good tones on the stone, you could have cropped some of the sky, and lightened the plants in the foreground to get more detail. Link to comment
sef1664877429 0 Posted November 24, 2004 You could probably go in two directions with this one. Keep the crop as it is, but reduce highlights, increase shadow detail. The original gives it some environmental context, just a hint of the ruins around it. Alternatively, you could concentrate on the textures of the rock with the flowers, by cropping away the background. Its a bit of an awkward crop, because of the shape of the stone and the letters, but how about the attatched? Either way is valid. Link to comment
