I have always admired the lines of the viking longship and the other kinds of viking ship so the way this sculpture has interpreted the sweeping curves is fascinating. The light you have caught here is great, emphasising the crew and the oars rather than the hull. The 'waiting' shot captures that aspect very well.

Colin, thank you very much for your definition.

The feeling with my first image of this sculpture, "Waiting for the right moment ..." was: to jump and sail again !!

The message with my second one "Friendship" was: We used to be a Viking nation sailing those Viking longboats, but not any more. We have left the boats, walked away from them like the two friendly persons are doing and become a peaceful and friendly nation. Some say that those Viking ships belong to a dark period of history. My message by the image is friendship to PN and friendship to the world.

My feeling with "Generations" is: The Life goes on ...

Fantastic! The tones and lush forms are marvelous. It is enigmatic and compelling. Nce work. Inspirational!

Very different from your other two shots of this beautiful subject in beautiful surroundings. Indeed, I like this one although not exactly my favorit of the three, I must admit. The reflection of light in the metalic surface of the sculpture and the reflection of the sculpture in the foundation adds.

thank you for your visit and comment. You are right, they are indeed very different and that was the reason for the upload of the third image with this subject. For me, this beautiful sculpture is like an actor in another role with another message.

Eren, thank you very much for your comment and rating. Hopefully sooner than later. It depends on the light and time for photographing. Thanks again. Baldur
