Great composition. Excellent exposure. Light is amazing in this photo. Brillian stuff. Nice work... 7/7. Best regards.

Hello Baldur. How did I miss this one ? You present beautiful picture again where the main subject and other elements are well balanced. The light selectively on the sculpture is very interesting and really adds to the shot. I like the calm and peace that can be felt looking at many of your pictures. Makes me coming back. Best regards, Peter

About the name Baldur:

Baldur, the White and Good, is one of the Aesir, or ancient gods of the Vikings. Baldur is very handsome, courageous and wise. Baldur means "brave".

Well known gods:

Odinn, the most powerful of them all, Frigg, his wife, Thor, Sif, Loki, Sigyn, Baldur, son of Odinn and Frigg, Nanna, his wife, Tyr, Freyr/Gandalfur, Freyja, Njordur, Idunn, Bragi, Eir, Fenrir/Fenrisulfur, Hel, Midgardsormur, Heimdallur, Bifrost, Mimir.

Less known gods:

Byggvir and Beyta, Gna, Goa, Hlin, Irpa, Skadi, Syn, Vidir, Sjofn, Reid, Hnoss and Agaeti, Vara, Ullur.

Only few of all these names are in use in Iceland and some of them are not common.

Perhaps I will later try to write about what each god stands for.

Good image, the light on the sculpture makes it alive and the sky and water make up a great background. The new ship on the horizon stands out for the color too...
