This is part of a photo of back-lit leaves. No PS manipulation at

all. I'll post the original photo here later. But please let me know

what you think first. Thanks.

Absolutely beautiful! The black negative space becomes a significant design feature on its own.

I love these kind of images, this one's as good as it gets.

Many thanks for all your comments. Now, here's how I did it, if you wondered. With a bit of 'me too' attitude, I went out last Saturday to take a few photos of back-lit golden leaves of the trees before they all go away with the late autumn wind. While back home looking at one of the photos I took, I felt the exposure, lighting, colors etc were all OK, but then again it's just another back-lit tree leaf photo. However it didn't take me long to notice the amazing "geometry of nature" there. Except for some cropping, I didn't do anything with the original photo. Fred, I'm glad the "black negative space" works for you, that's original too. Evidently this is your area of interests and I've looked at your photos. Amazing stuffs! I'll certainly learn from you.

A beautiful geometric image. I particularly like the curved line emerging from the upper left of the image, and the straight line emerging from the lower right. It creates a dynamic black slash across the image that is very striking. I love it. Rick

This is a pristine image. Composition, lighting, diagonal lines and negative space all work together in harmony. Well done.

Great great abstract shot of nature! I've been paging through your portfolio, looking for the one shot that I could leave my critique on - and I've settled on this. The colors, the texture, the composition - all fit perfectly and make it stand out.

I think I personally find the color to be it's strong point. Warm and inviting.

Great job!
